"Dissatisfied customer"
I purchased a pair of tactical boots, wore it twice, my feet was wet, I called they instructed me to send it back. I send it back they said I had it for 35 days and they only guarantee it for 30 days. So they are sending it back to me i can dispose of it. Stay away from this company they specialize in ripping off the law enforcement community.

"Terrible Service"
I ordered 2 shirts in October. In late December the shirts arrived, without patches sewn on. I contacted customer service and received an email addressed to me and their labeling department to email me a shipping label so the shirts could be returned and patches applied. It has been about a week and a half and still no email with a shipping label. I don't expect there ever will be one sent to me. Galls is the worst company I have ever dealt with as this is not the first time items for our department have been messed up. We have even received shirts with the incorrect patches sewn on. I believe a change in management is required to fix what is wrong with this company.

"I placed a large order with Galls…"
I placed a large order with Galls online and then received an email stating that my card was declined and that I had to contact my bank or the order would be canceled. Naturally I called my bank to see if there was an issue but they said Galls already had my money, the transaction went through…everything was good to go and that I needed to call Galls back and see what the issue was there.

Well, I called Galls and they said that they did not have my money (even though my bank statement showed the pending transaction from Galls) Galls also said that they needed authorization from my bank and get on a 3 way call.

Well, obviously frustrated and annoyed at this point I decided it was not worth the hassle and decided to cancel the entire order. I did not facilitate an ‘authorization’ instead I called my bank back, explained the situation and they very kindly reversed the charge and did not grant authorization.

Story over, order canceled right? Nope the nightmare continues. Last night I received an email from Galls saying that they could not cancel my order and that the items have been shipped! What the hell Galls? I called Galls customer service and they said yep your card was declined but they still shipped your order. Oops our bad…you’re going to have to return it or we will charge you (charge you for our mistake) I am still waiting on this order and they have scheduled for FedEx to pick it up from my house this week. What the actual F is going on with Galls. Absolute garbage company.

Edit: On top of all of this, Galls online does NOT let you know if something is out of stock until you complete a transaction. You will find out after you have made an order if something is going to be delayed (for months sometimes) Avoid Galls at all costs

"HORRIBLE TO WORK WITH"
Our company uses Galls for uniforms. We purchase large amounts of items. We cannot get a response to anything. We receive incorrect orders, invoices for items we have not received, absolute AWFUL customer service and they don't seem bothered by any of it. I'm not sure how they keep any organization.

I would avoid at all costs and pay more somewhere else.

"Will not buy again"
On December 15 I placed an order for two pairs of boots because it said online that The estimated shipping date would be on December 16. On December 30 I contacted customer support to check on my order. I was told that it was boxed and was ready to be shipped out it should be shipped out today on the 30th. I was told the delay was because of the holidays. It is now January 5 and I called customer support once again to check on my order. I was told again that my boots were packaged and ready to be shipped and all it needs is a shipping label. I was told that I should get an email today with a tracking number. If I don't get an email today I'll probably just cancel my order. Definitely will not be buying anything from Gall's again.

"Poor customer service"
My Law Enforcement family has collectively spent thousands of dollars with purchases from Galls over the last several years. Recently we attempted to purchase an item that was advertized at a sale price. My wife was having problems ordering the item and sent an email trying to get the item at the sale price. On a telephone conversation today with Galls they said they could no longer honor the sale price. As a previously loyal customer of Galls it is obvious that they no longer care about customer service. We will be shopping elsewhere. I also found it to be extremely odd that there is no place on Galls website to leave a company review.

"DO NOT BE IN A HURRY"
I placed an order for a pair of boots because i needed them for work on Nov 1 2022. order number 21993035
They were supposed to be here on the 7th. Wow, really long wait time but was hoping they would ship early. No such luck. called them was told that i would have it by the 11th. The 11th came and went no boots not even we shipped it. I called and explained my situation and how important the boots are. I was told they would fedex them overnight. That didn't happen. On the 15th I called them again and just ask them to cancel the order I went to academy and bought a pair as i needed them for work.
The 17th rolls around and the boots came. I called them and ask them what happened and she said she was sorry sent me a return label then emailed me that it would cost me 10.00 to return if i didnt exchange for something else.
So not only did I end up paying 10.00 for shipping them I had to pay 10.00 to send them back. 20.00 for absolutely nothing.
What in the world is going on here? So be mindful of what you order and whatever you do dont be in a hurry.

"Down the Drain"
Not the Galls it used to be. Ordered a pair of boots. Throughout the process everything stated, "In Stock, Ships Within 24-hours." That is until I Placed the order and they charged my credit card. Then it was estimated Ship Date 12/12/2022! Seriously???? Called to cancel the order, which they said they did. Looked at the order online today as I noticed they charged my credit card, and yep, order was "Still Processing with the same estimated ship date." Cancelled it again and will have to watch or dispute the charge on my credit card. Absurd to charge for something you are not going to ship for 2-months! Never ever again Galls.

"Gone down the drain"
What happened to Galls? They used to be one of the best places to get things, not anymore it seems. I placed an order for a pair of boots. All the way through the checkout process they were, "In Stock, Ships Within 24-Hours." Put all my info and credit card in, hit Place Order. Next screen for Order Received now states the boots will not ship until 12/12/22, two months away and they charged my credit card. Seriously wtf Galls? Called the next day to cancel the order. Then the day after that I looked at the order on Galls website and it still says processing! Finally got the order cancelled I hope, will have to wait a few days to ensure the charge comes off my credit card. But will never be buying anything from Galls again.

"Super poor service"
I went into the Galls location in Houston, Texas on Greens Road on 1/13/22 to order a outer vest carrier. I provided the serial number of the exact carrier I wanted (I already had this carrier in a different color) and advised I wanted it in tan. The vest carrier was paid for and I also gave my ballistic panel serial numbers to the employee at the store. Several weeks later the employee called me again asking for the panel numbers which I provided again. I ask the employee why she wanted the numbers again and ask if she was just now placing the order to which she replied that the order was already placed but that the system had deleted the numbers (I now suspect that this was a lie). The vest carrier order stated that the item would be arriving in March. I did not receive any updates on my order so on May 25,2022 I again went to the store to inquire about my order and was told that there was no order, and that the Galls system had deleted my order somehow. I asked for a manager and was referred to Chelsea who said she was sorry and that she would address the issue with the employee. The manager Chelsea said she would see where I had placed the order in January and simply did a re-order. The re-order was scheduled to arrive in July. I did not receive any updates on my re-order so on August 1,2022 I again went to the store to inquire and was told that my carrier had came in (however I was never notified). I met with Assistant Branch Manager Cassandra Alvarez who delivered the re-ordered vest. When I opened the box I found that the store had ordered the wrong item and it was a tactical version and not the uniform version. Alvarez stated that the manager Chelsea had simply did a re-order of the order that was deleted from the system which was apparently initially ordered wrong. Alvarez offered to order the correct carrier and ask for a rush. On September 21,2022 I checked the status of the order and found that it had been shipped and received at the store on 9/1/22, however I was never notified. I called the store and spoke to an employee who advised that she could not find the vest but that she would do some checking and call me back. I called and spoke to the manager Alvarez who advised that she would call me right back. It has been over 2 hours and I have yet to receive a call back from either employee.

I have attempted to escalate this issue higher by calling several upper management staff members with the company but they have failed to return my call.

I has been over 8 months and I am still waiting on this carrier. I would advise to not do business with this company if you have a choice.

"Basically Liars and Thieves at this point"
On 8/23/2022, I placed an order for 2 pair of 5.11 BDU pants. Shortly after placing the order, I was advised that the product was out of stock and there was a delay, the updated shipping date was now 8/26/2022. So I waited, checking the order occasionally as I needed the uniform for an event this upcoming weekend. I called yesterday to check the status of the order. I spoke with a young woman who was able to contact 5.11 and confirm the pants were still out of stock, and advised me the new anticipated delivery date to be September 12,2022. As this was past my need date, I requested cancellation of the order and a refund. The call taker indicated a rather convoluted cancellation policy, specifically that they would need to cancel the order with 5.11, await a written confirmation of said cancellation, then customer service would cancel my Galls order, then forward my refund request which, upon approval, would take 1-2 days to process to my bank. She indicated that it had to happen this way to ensure the merchandise was not in a truck in transit. I reminded her that we had just confirmed that 5.11 said the item was still out of stock and that even if it was, it would be being delivered by Fedex which does not take a week. She refused to budge or help further repeating the refund policy over and over, the second mistake. I requested a supervisor. Shortly thereafter, I spoke with a woman named Stacey, who repeated everything the call taker had said and tried to push me off. As the company had my money for 2 weeks with not so much as an email update from Galls, I was no longer willing to accept the burden of their inaction. I was placed on hold several times, growing increasingly impatient with the canned apologies. Having worked in the customer service industry, I can attest that when a customer is disappointed, often they simply want an apology. But when a customer has already paid, if they can't get answers they want results, effort. At no point did the company accept any fault for the communication issue or offer a solution, somehow this was my burden to bear. Stacey retuned to the line and rather curtly advised me that the order was cancelled and to expect my refund in 1-2 days. The call ended.

I woke the morning to the first email from Galls since this escapade began. It was a confirmation of my order and advised me that the order was still being processed. So much for Stacey. I called again. The gentleman I spoke with advised me that Stacey had entered a request for cancellation but it was still awaiting approval pending confirmation from 5.11 of cancellation of the order and that refunds sent to that department were handled in order they are received. I advised him that all of that had been done yesterday by Stacey and that the order should be cancelled. Clearly she had lied to me to get me off the phone. He suggested I misinterpreted her comments and assured him I did not. I requested Stacey's manager and was connected to Aislinn Lawson, who again insisted I had not been lied to by Stacey and that nothing could be done. I recognize damage control when I see it. Aislinn suggested sending emails to Stacey, who was not working apparently, as well as to the accounting department to try to expedite the queue. I reminded her that all of that was supposedly done, by Stacey, the day before but wanted to know why it actually had not. Again placed on hold multiple times, and given dozens of empty apologies, Stacey answered the line, and here I thought she was off. I told her I did not want to speak to her, as she had already lied to me, and demanded a manager. I was told he, Dan Martin Senior Director, Sales Operations and Customer Experience, was in meetings until 11am (another lie, as I later discovered he was travelling). Keep in mind Gall's on-hold recording stresses, ad-nauseum, valuing our time for the work we do. I was connected to Aislinn again, who to her credit was now much more pleasant. She asked what I wanted and I advised her (paraphrasing) that I didn't want to pushed off to some customer refund policy that holds my money longer than necessary. I wanted someone to get up off their chair and walk to accounting and authorize my refund. Despite the perception that they are a large, multinational company, they are a small building in Kentucky, this should not be an issue. Aislinn confirmed that the 5.11 order had been cancelled yesterday, suggesting that the call taker today was also lying or the company doesn't share information as efficiently as it should. I waited, sometimes on hold and sometimes in real time, as Aislinn performed today, what Stacey had said she did yesterday, losing me yet another day to solve my equipment problem. She also candidly advised that the ordering person had not followed up with 5.11 in any capacity in the last 2 weeks regarding my order. Stacey had already been flagrantly untruthful to the customer, and again I was at the mercy of Aislinn's veracity that all of what she said is actually happening. I guess I'd have my answer in 1-2 days. Oddly enough on 9/7/2022 I was pleasantly surprised to see they had actually refunded my purchase. Until the next day, when they unexplainably re-charged the entire transaction again. Due to a medical issue I was unable to deal with it for 10 days. Calling them today proved just as useless. They could not immediately verify the charge, until Jenny, this time, received 3 screenshots from my checking account indicating it. She agreed it certainly appeared to be an error, but told me it could take as long as 72 hours to be addressed. As they had my money, again, for over 10 days already I was unwilling to accept the responsibility. After an hour on hold, the supervisor, Kamika Scott this time, came on and flatly lied to me. She informed me that I was in error, that the bank had erroneously received two refunds and they were only recouping the second. I, of course, had already confirmed this to be untrue prior to the call with my bank as well as again after, when I finally disputed the charge all together. No more calls. No more business. And a lifetime of butchering them online to kill their future. Lying and ripping off customers is bad business. This company is purely a middleman. Skip the wasted time and buy direct. Their customer services is garbage. They're willing to flat out lie if it gets you off the phone.

"Inaccurate website info, very slowing shipping"
Website says "In Stock! Usually ships within 24 hours". But it's been two weeks and nothing has shipped. Terrible customer service and false advertising.
